The EP by Necrosy starts with the song ‘No Solution’ and the speed of this song is just incredible at 310bpm, and I have to say big credit first of all to the drummer for giving it his all the whole 4 minutes and 18 seconds. In fact, the other songs are just as hard to play, and he is doing an incredible job, especially the double bass is sick as hell! The guitars are also really well played, and the songs just kick your ass from start to finish. The solos range from fast shredding to slower, more melodic styles and again everything is top notch.The vocals are brutal and very aggressive, just as they should be. While I would call this death Metal at it’s finest, there are very melodic elements in there that remind me of the earlier days of that genre, however, there are very modern bits in it as well. I also love that a range of instruments are used, not just guitars and drums, but also strings and piano, as well as lots of effects on the guitar sounds. I also have to give credit to the bass player, especially in the song ‘Ascending Mourning’, which features amazing bass-lines.
